In accordance with Section 104.7.2 of the International Fire Code, South Davis Metro will require a “technical opinion and report” (peer review) of all plans for the installation and/or modification of an automatic fire protection system, installation and/or modification of fire alarm and detection systems and related equipment, fire pumps and related fuel tanks, jockey pumps, controllers and related equipment, installation, modification, or removal from service of a standpipe system. Step 2 – Submit Plans:
Submit plans to fireplans@sdmetrofire.gov

Step 3 – Plan Review & Project Clearance Letter:
After steps 1 and 2 are completed, the Fire Marshal will conduct a plan review and issue a project clearance letter or an operational permit. PLEASE ALLOW UP TO 14 BUSINESS DAYS.
